Introduction
SEETRON has TPMS designed for the off road tire market (OTR) to be used on large vehicles in many applications such as construction, earthmoving, mining, carrying container and farming. The OTR tires are expensive assets and carry very heavy load. The expense of tire and fuel is major cost to operate these vehicles.
TPMS can come down to cost and enhance the safety driving. When the smart phone APP is used for TPMS display, it has the function to send the data to anywhere for management.
In agricultural application, the farmer's tractor should work on road and off-road. During on-road driving, the tire pressure should be inflated to 15 - 41 PSI and during the tractor works in off-road, the tire pressure should be inflated to 6 - 12 PSI to increase tire contact with the soil, improving traction and reducing soil compaction. TP2-AGRIC will monitor the tire pressure and show the best condition of operation. The minor punctures and leaks are very important factors to operate off-road because it always operates very low tire pressure. TP2-AGRIC warns of the low pressure up to 5 PSI and the threshold of warning is programmable.
The OTR TPMS consists of display, repeater and tire sensors.

Most of modern truck/bus drivers have a smart phone and the smart phone has replaced many displays and functions. SEETRON has developed the leading-edge smart phone APP and it is the first full function TPMS APP for OTR TPMS. It is not simple display APP but has full function also.

OBU
It is in-cab device is used as the interface between the smart phone APP and the tire sensors by Bluetooth. The TPMS ECU in it is monitoring and controlling the system. It has internal RF receiver, Bluetooth receiver and transmitter,
supporting hand held programming tool by LF transmitter. Also there is the warning and status LED signal display.

Wireless Repeater on tractor and trailers
Most of vehicles can work with one repeater and install the repeater between monitor and rear tire axle. The repeater shall be located under the frame according to wireless signal strength and distance. There will be no cable connection between a cabin display and repeater under the cabin and it makes the installation easy. The multiple repeaters and receiver can be used for special equipment vehicles or long body vehicles.
The repeater of trailer shall be installed between trailer-tractor and/or 1st trailer -2nd trailer and it is used as the wireless device for a drop-and-hook feature for trailers. The trailer repeater is TPMS ECU and keeps all information of tire sensors.

Tire senor
The tire sensor transmits tire information through an RF signal to the in-cab display and repeater. Current TPMS are separated into two fundamental types, depending on the positioning of the sensors. We are providing external and internal positioning of the sensors both. There are the internal valve stem mounted/internal wheel mounted sensors and external valve stem mounted sensor.
The advantage of internal sensor is:
